Power Personnel is currently seeking experienced Ambulatory Nurses to fill openings at Highland Hospital. Interested candidates will have a minimum of 1 year of Ambulatory experience in a hospital setting.
12 week contract
8hr shifts
Day Shift (7: 00am start time)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver superior patient care by assessing, evaluating, planning, coordinating and implementing patient care principles
- Provide treatments and medications to ensure patients are being appropriately cared for
- Possess proficient medical knowledge which is utilized to ensure patient welfare
- Initiate corrective actions when a patient’ s condition warrants it
- Administer patient education
- Maintain proper and complete documentation of patient care
Requirements of the Ambulatory Nurse
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
- Current RN licensure by California Board of Nursing
- BLS & ACLS from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year Registered Nursing experience
- Clinic experience
- Experience with donning/doffing PPE and has performed specimen collection and processing.
- Proficiency in computer charting
