Your key responsibilities:Strong candidates will bring experience to resolve problems with many cross-functional concerns. Experts are great, but a jack-of-all-trades candidate will probably find more success in this role. * Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members. * Help design cloud ready scalable architectures * Assist in containerizing workloads (both the theoretical and implementation) * Act as an ambassador to the AppDev teams, representing the vision and goals of the centralized MSCI DevOps team. * Document solutions and teach other engineers how to automate their own build/deploy/monitoring solutions * Go beyond theory to implementing and troubleshooting pipeline automation, reports, and tests. * Deliver proof-of-concepts to support new requirements. * Must be able to keep the big picture in mind while working through details. Your skills and experience that will help you excel: Have at least 8 years of experience in a job with following responsibilities… * Hands on experience automating infrastructure with tools like Ansible, Terraform * Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes * Experience hosting workloads in the cloud * Comfortable working in a metrics driven environment. * Fluent in programming language like Java, C#, or C++ * Experience with scripting languages like Go, Python, Bash * Hands on experience with CI tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, BitBucket Server, Artifactory.
