THE JOB AT A GLANCE

Urgently hiring full-time or part-time Medical Assistants for three month fixed term employment includes benefits. We are searching for Medical Assistants who are comfortable working in a fast paced, paperless environment. Tasks will include administering tests, taking vitals, rooming patients, set up/cleaning rooms, and assisting with procedures.

This role will float between our mobile team and our urgent care clinic.

A TYPICAL DAY

• Performs patient care such as taking vitals, patient history and triaging
• Assist with procedures such as incision and drainage, lacerations and wound care
• Administer medications via intradermal, intramuscular and subcutaneous routes
• Carry out ear lavages and run EKGs
• Conduct lab testing such as COVID-19, urinalysis, urine pregnancy test, blood glucose testing, monospot, rapid strep and influenza testing, rapid hiv testing

ABOUT YOU

• Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current BLS certification
• One year or more experience as a Medical Assistant
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
