We are developing data-driven solutions for petabyte scale, high velocity, big data analytics in a modern DevOps environment.
We are looking for an experienced full stack developer who’s sufficiently savvy to take on the role of a technical lead.
We seek a unique combination skills and passion for creating a team-wide technical vision and then turning that into reality using their design, hands-on coding and people skills.
We are looking for a visionary lead developer who is ready to and capable of pushing our big data analytics platform to the next level.

Responsibilities
· Lead and contribute to design and development of technological solutions for big data analytics and related projects / initiatives
· Lead small team of full stack developers using task management, collaboration, tech debt management, and mentorship to build big data analytics applications
· Mentor and guide staff, document design and decisions, and work tasking backlog assignments and status Core Skill Set
· 5+ years of relevant, progressive experience designing and developing technological solutions for big data analytics related projects / initiatives
· 2+ years performing in a technical lead role directing three or more developers
· Fluent in Agile, Scrum, DevOps and management of sprint tasking using Jira
· Possess great systems engineering skills, problem-solving skills, ability and confidence to run spikes and resolve architectural choices
· Proficient with Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and HTML/CSS
· Understanding and experience developing secure web, web service solutions (REST, Microservices, MVC, SPA)
· Successful implementations of batch and streaming / real-time big data pipelines (Kafka / Spark Streaming / Message Queues)
· Experience in distributed computing frameworks and application development in one or more modern software stacks and related frameworks, architecture approaches (LAMP, ELK, serverless)
· Experience with structured relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Hive on Object Storage)
· Experience with NoSQL/unstructured data and object stores (KV Stores, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, S3, Minio)
· Hands-on development experience using Public Cloud IaaS (AWS, Google), and Kubernetes
· Proficiency in related SW development, collaboration and testing tool suites (GitLab, Slack, Selenium, Chaos Monkey, Postman)
· Some knowledge of statistics and Machine Learning technologies on cloud-based platform using Hadoop, Spark, H2O or Tensorflow
· Interest integrating/deploying AI/ML models for real-time predictions
· Ability to work as a team in a high-paced DevOps setting Education
· BS or MS in Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or related technical degree Security
· This position may require access to protected US Government information.
