What you will do Maintains schedule of all Home Health servicesAssists with preparation of nursing call schedule.Receives updated orders from physicians.?Takes and prepares intake referrals, and prepares clinical notes for interventions rendered.Verifies insurance coverage for services, if needed. Provides clinical, billing, and collections personnel with information regarding insurance coverage.Tracks authorization versus utilization and secures authorization for visits.When requested, provides report to case managers of third party payors after clinical review.Perform data entry functions for service-related charges.Acknowledges patient rights including privacy and confidentiality.Consistently displays a professional appearance and conduct in all settings.
Customer service, including interpersonal and inter-agency relationships, is positive and professional at all times.Schedules all shift requests for Home Health.
Shifts may require RN”s, LVN”s, have variable start and stop times, and are a minimum of four hours in length.Acts as chief liaison to patient and family regarding personnel and shift issues.Additional list of duties and responsibilities is provided in the Job DescriptionWho you are:Graduate of accredited nursing program.
Current, active license as an LVN by the California Board of Nursing including fingerprint card.Current CPR, health clearance, TB clearance.Successful passage (80%) of Agency competency exam, clinical skills self-assessment and core competency skills checklist.Minimum of one year experience within the last three years.by Jobble
