The Claremont boasts an award winning Spa & The Club at The Claremont.Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Spa Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:* Attend Fresh Start Meeting as scheduled, or arrive 15 minutes prior to first appointment of the day.* Follow treatment protocols for consistency and to maintain the integrity of the treatment.* Pick up products from dispensary, and return unused products/empty containers at the end of the shift.* Exercise product control and linen usage as outlined by the manager.* Punch and sign in and out on time clock for shifts and lunch breaks.* Always use a quiet voice in all areas of the spa.* Greet guest with a smile, eye contact, and use of first and last name.* Ensure that the guest has a full understanding of the service and is comfortable with the process.* Pick up guests on time for their service* Provide quality, safe, consistent and ethical treatments to guests.* Interact with guests in a friendly, service oriented manner.* Offer each guest water, tea, or juice at the start of the service and after the treatment.* Check the computer schedule throughout the day for changes.* Clean work areas when finished with treatments keeping it clean and prepared for next guest and staff member.* Rooms always left in presentable fashion as tours for guests are often given.* Adjust table height for correct ergonomic working standards.*Qualifications:* Minimum of 100 hours of massage training* Certification from an accredited school of massage preferred* All professional licenses are to be current* CPR and First Aid certification preferred* Excellent communication and organizational skills* Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities* Highly responsible & reliable* Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):* Frequent standing, bending and reaching throughout shift* Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs* Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting* Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps* Frequent standing, bending and reaching throughout shiftVisa Requirements:Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).This Position does not offer sponsorship of Work Visas.
