Manager Rehabilitation Services and Physical Therapy

An excellent opportunity for a Rehabilitation Services Manager s is now available in a 500 bed non profit San Francisco Bay Area Medical Center

The Manager of Rehabilitation Services will report to the Service Line Director Rehabilitation Services, and will be supported by 3 supervisors and various charge nurses.  

The Regional Medical Center is committed to providing a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. The certified and highly trained therapists work with patients and offer a wide variety of services including acupuncture, fall prevention, aquatic therapy, and neurological, orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation. 

The Program Manager Rehabilitation Services will be responsible for: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Recreational Therapy, Social Workers, Neuropsychology, Audiology, Speech Pathology and the Disabled Community Clinic. 

The Therapist Manager should have experience in a management role and experience as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Neuropsychologist or Speech Pathologist. The Rehab Service Manager will hire, train and evaluate staff in the Rehabilitation Services Department. The Unit Manager is responsible for budgeting and developing quality improvement projects. 

The Manager Rehabilitation Program will collaborate with the Director in identifying expansion and growth opportunities of the therapy services programs, and will provide leadership to staff and collaboration with ancillary health care providers.
